KC Water customers can search by address to find out what kind of material their water service line pipe is made of. Service lines are the pipes that connect from water main pipes to buildings and houses. The pipe material may be different for the city-owned service line and the customer-owned service line.

The results of the initial Service Line Inventory are available on an online map. Inventory results were collected from historical records and known water service line pipe material identified, to date.
