How do I apply for tax exemption with KC Water?

KC Water charges taxes on the total water usage and water service charges based on Missouri state and county sales tax rates on all commercial or industrial properties.   Upon receipt of a valid Missouri Sales Tax Exemption certificate we will cease charging sales tax.  All accounts that are requesting sales tax exemption must be included in the request and must match the ‘issued to’ name and Missouri Tax Identification number on the Missouri Sales Tax Exemption certificate.  To submit an online request for KC Water tax exempt status click here.
