As of June 23rd, KC Water’s front entrance and customer lobby are reopened after a multi month renovation effort. The new lobby features not only brighter lights and a more open aesthetic but has several features that aim to enhance customers’ experience.
These improvements include enhanced accessibility for customers, added security screening and privacy features, new informational displays to alert customers about ongoing news with the department and the city of Kansas City as a whole as well as modernized customer service areas for KC Water staff to better meet the needs of those that walk in the doors.
KC Water asks all customers park in the front lot and use the entrance off 63rd street when visiting the department. The temporary customer entrance around the north side of the building is no longer available for customers.
