(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water seeks the public’s help in refraining from bringing certain hazardous household waste (HHW) materials to the HHW facility located at 4707 Deramus Avenue. Due to a shortage of processing capacity at incineration facilities across the country, KC Water asks that customers do not bring the following items until further notice:
- Corrosive Cleaners
- Hazardous liquids
- Household cleaners
- Lawn and garden products
- Photographic chemicals
- Pool chemicals
KC Water will continue to accept automotive products, antifreeze, batteries, CFL light bulbs and paint. We apologize for the inconvenience and will update the public as soon as information becomes available.
