Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow near 6700 Zoo Dr.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 6700 Zoo Drive at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020. The overflow ended at 3:15 p.m. the same day. Wastewater surfaced about a foot away from a manhole and entered into a storm drainage ditch which leads to the Blue River. Crews are making repairs to the defective area around the 33” pipe. The drainage ditch will be washed down after full repairs have been completed.
