(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 5516 N. Kansas Ave. at 6:14 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021. The overflow was fully contained and ended at 9:15 p.m. the same day. Crews found wastewater surfacing and entering Mill Creek from a 24-inch sewer. Repair crews have installed sandbags to contain the wastewater and signs warning the public of the overflow will be posted.
