Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow near 5452 N. Bales Ave.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 5452 N. Bales at 1:41 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021.  Wastewater crews are onsite to resolve the problem and restore normal flow to the collection system. Repairs are ongoing and wastewater has entered Mill Creek. Workers are setting up bypass pumping to redirect the wastewater into a nearby manhole.  Signs warning the public of the overflow will be posted.
