Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow Near 5420 Paseo Blvd.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 5420 Paseo Blvd. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 8:30 p.m. The overflow ended the same night at 9:40 p.m. and spilled approximately 700 gallons of wastewater.  A manhole was found overflowing at this location. Wastewater traveled along the curb and entered into a catch basin which connects to a storm sewer that leads to Brush Creek. Because of the heavy rain, the wastewater was highly diluted. Warning signs were posted.
