Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow Near 10624 Bellefontaine Ave.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 10624 Bellefontaine Ave. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 9:10 a.m. It ended later that same day at 4:45 p.m. and resulted in an overflow of approximately 22,750 gallons of wastewater. Wastewater surfaced and entered a catch basin which eventually leads to Alex George Lake. The wastewater was highly diluted due to a rain event. Signs have been posted at the lake.
