KC Water contractors are making repairs to a 6-inch water main in the Northland, around 212 NE 115th street. The break occurred around 10am on Friday, August 1st. Due to the work, KC Water has shut a couple valves in the area, resulting in an estimated 80 customers to be temporarily cut off from water.
While repairs are ongoing, KC Water will have a vehicle located at 304 NE 115th St. with cases of water for impacted residents to pick up. Each household can receive two cases.
Repairs are slated to be finished by Friday evening. Water service should be restored shortly after.
