Update: Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow near 4620 Virginia Street

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 4620 Virginia Street at 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2020. The overflow ended at 9:20 p.m. the same day. Wastewater surfaced and entered into Brush Creek. Wastewater repair crews implemented bypass pumping which ended the overflow. Cleaning crews are onsite to remove rock and debris from the 27 inch main.
