Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow Near 9707 Shepherd Dr.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 9707 Shepherd Dr. at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019. The overflow ended the same day at 9:00 p.m. and spilled approximately 8,000 gallons of wastewater.  A cleaning crew opened a grease stoppage and restored normal flow to the 8” sewer main.  Wastewater surfaced and entered into Blue River.  Warning signs were posted. Cleaning crews will apply lime to the affected grass area.
