Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow Near 9204 Wornall Road

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 9204 Wornall Road Friday, August 30, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. The overflow ended the same night at 6:30 p.m. and spilled approximately 4,500 gallons of wastewater.  A manhole was found overflowing at this location. Crews opened up the grease stoppage and restored normal flow. Wastewater surfaced and entered into Dyke Branch Creek which leads to Indian Creek. Warning signs were posted.
