Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow near 416 Manchester Avenue

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 416 Manchester Ave. at 3:30 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2020. The overflow is currently ongoing. Wastewater has surfaced from a gate flap on a 30” sewer main and is entering into the Blue River. Cleaning and repair crews are onsite. Signs are being posted. KC Water will send a notification after the overflow has been contained.
