Customers Advised of Wastewater Overflow near 4101 N. Corrington Ave.

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow near 4101 N. Corrington Ave. at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2021. The overflow ended at 10:58 p.m. the same day.  An investigation found a broken encasement between two manholes. Wastewater surfaced and entered into Randolph Creek. Contract crews contained the overflow and implemented bypass pumping. Signs were posted near the site alerting the public of the overflow and to avoid the area.
