Customers Advised About Wastewater Overflow at 10601 State Line Road

(Kansas City, Mo.) – KC Water responded to a wastewater overflow at 10601 State Line Road, on Tuesday, September 25th at 2:00 p.m. The overflow was the result of a sewer main clogged with grease. The overflow ended 5:20 p.m. the same day and resulted in an overflow of 3,300 gallons.

A cleaning crew cleaned the sewer line and lime will be applied to the affected area. KC Water will use CCTV to confirm that all grease has been removed. Warning signs are posted along this portion of Indian Creek.
